Job Summary
The Mechanic Technician is responsible for performing high-quality maintenance, repair, and diagnostics related to coil tubing units. The role is critical for ensuring the unit’s optimal functionality, safety, and efficiency during operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspection and Diagnosis: Routinely inspect coil tubing units to identify issues, perform troubleshooting and assess the need for repairs or upgrades.
2. Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of coil tubing units.
3. Quality Control: Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities meet industry standards, company guidelines, and safety regulations.
4. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, work performed, and parts used.
5. Inventory Management: Keep track of spare parts inventory and assist in the procurement of additional parts as needed.
6. Compliance: Strictly adhere to company policies and safety regulations. Keep abreast of industry regulations and best practices.
7. On-site Support: Provide technical support during coil tubing operations as required.
8. Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the smooth operation of equipment and promptly address any concerns.

Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the energy sector.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Experience with coil tubing units is highly desirable.
- Valid certifications to operate relevant machinery and equipment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
