DESCRIPTION
The Recruiter will execute hiring functions relative to the staffing campaigns of local and international Oil and Gas clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, be knowledgeable about the international hiring practices of Oil and Gas companies and have a strong aptitude of building trust with candidates. He/She will be familiar with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms to create a strong pipeline/talent pool, and be adept at managing multiple processes inclusive of prescreening, interviewing and onboarding.

MAIN FUNCTIONS
  • Must have a stable internet connection and be able to work remotely. Work laptop will be provided by the company.
  • Conduct frontline recruiting for international clients in Oil and Gas. Must be able to create engaging and appropriate job adverts in line with vacancy specifications.
  • Receive and input all applications, CVs and documents into the company’s ATS platforms. Must notate actions appropriately at each stage.
  • Engage candidates via email, phone and chat to answer inquiries, provide information and manage their onboarding
  • Format and present candidate profiles to clients, inclusive of bio documents, medical and offshore certifications and other relevant information
  • Develop and maintain a proactive workflow to ensure workload is managed efficiently and hiring targets are met on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Participate on client recruitment conferences/calls to gain insight into hiring campaign specifics
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, SkilledGuyanese.com and other platforms (must be trainable)
  • Provide progress updates to Recruitment Coordinator and leadership as requested

EDUCATION AND CORE COMPETENCIES
  • 3+ years’ experience in a recruitment role. Previous hiring experience in Oil and Gas is a distinct advantage.
  • Degree/diploma in a related field would be an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, email, ATS and CRM platforms (must be trainable)
  • Adept at using online meeting applications such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
  • Able to rotate working hours flexibly, with availability in the early morning hours
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
  • Able to meet candidate submission quotas, deadlines and hiring targets
