  • Responsible for all aspects of Well Integrity Engineering
  • Conduct Analysis, investigations and provide engineering recommendations in order to remedy the deficiencies of the wells already inspected and those planned for inspection based on historical well data (geology, drilling, completion, production or injection) and current parameters (production, reservoir pressure, annular pressure) and other risk factors identified during the wellhead audit and inspection of the selected wells
  • The necessary investigations to be conducted following the wellhead audit could be as an example as follow:
    • Slick Line (Calibration, top sediment, PFS, etc.)
    • Logging (PLT, Full off, thermometry, Video camera, tracer scan, etc.)
    • Well testing with a separator
  • The recommendations to remedy the wells inspected and requiring medium and heavy work shall be provided by the Well Integrity Engineer after the various analysis and investigations which will be compiled in a decision tree, defining the operations to be performed
  • Maintain production level and avoid production drop resulting from well shut downs
  • Optimize well intervention operations and reduce cost
  • Implementation and compliance with oil industry standard practices
  • Set up a database management system covering Well Integrity
  • Ensure safety at work and prevent contamination of resources
  • Identify the most common issues
  • Provide coaching and transfer of skills and know-how to Client’s personnel on site
  • Support during special or specific operations
  • Operational support during critical phases
  • Provide support in Well Control, Well Intervention and HSE activities
  • Perform Field inspections as required by the Client
  • Analysis of Wellhead inspection findings
  • Applies Company processes and procedures across the project
  • Performs continual project reviews, with client, Company Leadership and Internal project staff
  • Participates in Peer reviews, After Action Reviews and any investigations as required
  • Displays and encourages company ethics
  • Take an active and effective stance in representing the company
Qualifications & Requirements
  • This position requires an Engineering degree with 12 years min of experience in Drilling, Completions, and Production, with at least 5 years' experience with Well Integrity Management Systems.
  • Candidate must be knowledgeable in well design (casing/tubing), formation properties and in-situ conditions down-hole.
  • The individual must have experience with remedial operations to address a variety of well issues.
  • One primary responsibility of this position is to provide general support for well optimization.
  • Second primary duty is to provide a Well Integrity software and create a database.
  • The candidate must be technical in nature to help evaluate software packages and be able to set up a database methodically.
Desired Characteristics
  • Strong knowledge of Well Integrity, Well Integrity Management Systems, Analysis of Wellhead inspection findings, Production operations, Well Intervention Services, Risk Assessment.
  • Experience delivering effective outcomes in Well Integrity for National and International O&G Companies
  • Ability to provide technical assurance and support to implement Well Integrity Management Systems
  • Experience of onshore projects in the Middle east and Africa regions
  • Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills
  • Preference for candidates with bi-lingual capabilities, English French
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix organization

  • Work hitch can range from 28/28 and extended work rotation
